Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. In addition to BJJ training She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. When she was 18, she made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd was able to take down three opponents consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents had been defeated in the first few minutes. She then went back to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian prior to going to fight Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her in an unanimous decision. This put the mark of a loss on Aspen's records in her amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. She won her next fight in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills was able to take down McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her in the third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then went on to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 in a catchweight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however, Aspen took the victory and defeated Hoy by TKO. In her last fight for this promotion, Ladd beat Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd defeated Evinger by a punch in the opening round, and was awarded the Bonus Performance of the Night. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd was victorious in by a unanimous decision following a great back-and forth fight among the pair of fighters received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to end Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya fell by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7 on ESPN. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. It was a loss by majority decision.
