Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue An. Ellis Taylor is an American actor and producer. She earned an B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting at Tisch School of acting at New York University. Aunjanue L. Ellis is an American actress and producer who is active in films theater and television. She began acting on stage before appearing in independent, mainstream and TV series. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. In the following year, she made an appearance on BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. In 1995, she made her debut in the role of Ariel on stage on stage in The Tempest. Her stage credits include The Broadway show of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. When it comes to her career in movies, her best-known roles include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. For her work on television she has been praised for her part as a regular character on ABC's police drama High Incident.
