Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell is an American actress. Born on 27 March 1970, she stands 5'9 tall. Mitchell trained in acting at British American Drama Academy and completed her studies at Stephens College, graduating in 1991. Mitchell has worked in Dallas Theater Center six years. Her most famous role is acting as the role of Special Agent Emily Prentiss (CBS crime drama Criminal Minds) Her role in Criminal Minds was reduced to just half for the sixth series, according to reports from June of 2010.
